More pics of work....

It was very exciting to have the first Winter Street Studios open studio on Dec. 3 and 4th. I believe over 50 artists opened their doors to the public to see and be seen with their work. We have an incredible array of talented artists there.

I may decide to have "collections" (whoa!) Simply because my work is not clearly one type. I have delicate pieces and clunky pieces, light reflecting glass and heavy turquoise and coral items. I thought that if I put group names on types it would be easier to clarify the variety in my work.

Here are some of the delicate pieces:

This is a lampworked heart by Diane Woodall of Houston and I have put it with creamy freshwater pearls, turquoise and a 14k gold clasp.

The focal heart is white with lime green dots all over it. It has a wonderful feel to it.

This piece is rutilated rose quartz, which means there are light reflective striations within the quartz crystals. It is coupled with gold lampwork beads and Swarovski crystals and a 14k gold clasp.

Life moves on...!

It's mid December and I have been a whirlwind of activity. Some of it effective and some not (as always!) For instance, my website still is static. I thought I'd found a co-worker but it didn't fall together.

However, I have some fabulous pics of new and, most importantly, sold, jewelry. Here are some pics.....

This is a necklace of leaves carved out of jasper and a beautiful caramel drusy for the focal stone. It has lampworked beads and Swarovski Crystals, too. This necklace has been sold.

This is a yellow and green jade necklace. It has several different types of beads in jade. It has a glorious dragon head clasp that is as much a part of the necklace as the beads. This necklace has been sold.

This necklace is apple jasper and raku ceramic beads. It has a warm shine.
